The Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is a 130-bed facility with inpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. PIW offers psychiatric assessments and comprehensive behavioral healthcare to children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health and substance abuse issues. The  inpatient units serve patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis or seeking inpatient medical detoxification.
